seat recline

the adjusting knob for my seat recline mechanism has become loose. The car's a 96Cordoba saloon and the knob i'm referring to is the ergonomically shaped plastic knob.
i could not find anything on it in the haynes manual. does anyone know how i can tighten it before it finally comes off?
