My new wheels will be purchased within the week but received an email today regarding the tyres.
I'm getting 205/40/17 Federal's as standard with the offer to upgrade to either :
Avon - extra £40
Uniroyal - extra £50
Yokohama - extra £50
What's the best to have ???

Don't know Bill...That's the only info they gave via email. I've got to phone them to confirm my order.
Can only see them being a standard version though...whatever they might be !!??!!
A mate of mine has Avons on his ST24 and he is well happy with them...
They have lasted much better than the Pirellis he had on before and apparantly handle just as well...

I went for the Yoko's seem Ok slide quite well in the wet when you want em to ;)

I hate this kinda cr@p from tyre suppliers - you'd think that tyre manufacturers only made one kind of tyre sometimes...
