Can any of you guys do a review of the Hurricane for posting on the main site?
I would, but I can't exactly be deemed non-biased as I brought them into the UK.
Any volunteers?
thanks
Bill

It's not in the context, but can this hurricane be bought in my country or via post. I'm from Slovenia (neighbour of Italy and Austria).
It's important that it'll not mess my MAF sensor so it shouldn't be oiled.
It so please tell me as much details as you can + what is the price for this and what are the benefits I'll get (more horse power, some sound maybe).
We habe "Green" air filters in Slovenia and is there any difference comparing both.
Thanks
I have Ibiza 1.8 20V

Hello
Being mainland Europe, you should contact www.tuningconcepts.nl directly for supply.
The filters are lightly oiled but do not effect MAF's. My own is 4000miles into its life without any single problem, nor any evidence of oil tracking. (chipped Ibiza) ~200bhp

Yup go for it Shock Xe.
Take a few pics if you can during your installation, if not i know Bill has some of it installed anyway.
Once you've got all your text and images together send it to either myself or Lee and we'll fire it up on the main website.

I know. :D
Depending on job situations I'm either getting a Leon R or I'm gonna get some bits on the Beezer. I should know more in a month or so. It would have just forced me into buying one sooner.
Cheers

Power gains dyno'd on a chipped Ibiza (mine) are here>>> http://www.badger5.demon.co.uk/bin/std-vs-hurricane.PDF
It gave an extra 7.28bhp, 8.7lb/ft and flowed 8.25g/s more air through the MAF compared against the factory airbox and filter.
It does make some wooshy sounds which are fairly subtle, which are accentuated by a DV of the likes of Forge DV006 or7
Similar to Green's Twister, but different, as developed by Tuning concepts NL.
Their website is at http://www.tuningconcept.nl

Both togeter (hurricane and forge) with delivery to Slovenia comes cca. £254 (customs cca. 15% not included)
It should be about the same for Greece, anyway Bill will contact you with details.
P.S: Have you listened to the sound of this Hurricane. You have a link in Reviews section under Hurricane
