Hi guys, I am dead new to Seats, I tend to get my fingers dirty on a classic Harley-Davidson.

But, I am ready to take the plunge and buy a Toledo, been admiring them for years and with small 2 kids that is the one for me. I like them for the same reasons most people here might: they look great, they are DIFFERENT, they are a bargain, they have tremendous spec, and awesome reviews.

Now two simple questions. I am gonna buy a diesel because in my new job I am gonna be racking up 2000 miles a month.

1/ Can I buy the 150hp diesel Toledo as an import anywhere in the UK? This is how I found about it, I had no knowledge of it before coming across this websource ( I take it the 150hp model has been available on the Continent for a year or so):

2/ If I am gonna be resricted to the 110hp 1.9TDi everyone offers, can I get leather upholstery fitted as an extra? From what I have researched, this was an option from dealerships in 1999....

Many thanks...Dave the Kiwi

If your looking for options on the 110 then check the seat ireland webpages

www.seat.ie

they don't have the 150 yet so some of the dutch dealers should be able to help

Seat UK site shows leather/elec as £1250 option on SE models, I suspect this will be cheaper on Imports.

...a possible 4 months wait? Hmmmmmm.....I wanna be driving one before then and I will hunt high and low for one already on this island, or just go with the 110bhp. Jumping through the import hoops myself is not something I will have time to do in the foreseeable future.

Quite agree -

4 months = 17+ weeks = 121 days = 2912 hours = a bloody long time!
