My 99 Toledo 20V's Cat has just started to collapse internally. Sounds like a bag of spanners. Any cost effective solutions? original Cat quoted at £500 fitted (yoinks!)
Does that mean you are just outside the 3yr warranty? If so, try appealing to Seat's better side? Audi coughed up for a brake caliper on my car when it 4yrs old. You never know.
My Leon's cat is possibly knackered, it is only 14 months old. So more evidence to throw their way.
I am outside 3yr warranty but into extended 4th year - unfortunately it states specific exclusions include exhaust & Cat. I may pen a letter to SEAT uk. Does anyone know the name of the Technical Director or best bod to mailshoot?.
