Repairing a scratch
OK I have an onvi yellow Leon with about a 2 inch scratch on my drivers door, its deep and straight and thin, took it around my local pain and body shops all want me to pay at lease £230+ for a respray, now the scratch is not that bad and don't have the budget to do it, only I seem to notice it. now a few of them just said get a touch up pen and go down it with a cocktail stick or needle, so that is what I'm going to do, so I have ordered a touch up from Seat, now the tricky bit what will be the best way do touch it up, I will clean it first, but do I need to buy anything else to put on it, rub in,or on wax? or something, do I do it and park it in the sun to dry, I have never done this before so I don't have a clue, but I want it doing. this will be a long term solution so I want to do it the best I can. so please will you give me and help, suggestions before I go for it!
Cheers Keith
