I know it's not the most exciting accessory, but with winter almost upon us I thought I might invest....
Question for flapper : How much and where to they attach?
ta.
------------------
fornt and rear sets work out about £25 each and they clip on the wings at the front and the bumper @ the rear
only problem is , the cupra has side skirts and hence a slghtly different flap is required , i have a set on backorder whoch ill chase up and see what the crack is http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

Agreed, have them on my rally car....need to make sure that attaching doesn't involve screwing into metal bodywork....

mine screw into the inner stiff plastic arches where my originals once were, used same holes, you really dont want to mess about with the metal!!, if you want them permanet you could always use epoxy to hold em!! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/eek.gif http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

Fitted a set of mudfkaps to my mk 4 this morning, the screws are not the same on either side so I needed to drill new holes to attach one side. Very easy to fit though. You dont even need to take off the wheels.
Hope this helps

7 years later and a blast from the past, pity lucky32 (chris) isnt about to remember, nice to see his account wasnt expired/deleted.
This thread was originally for mk2/3 ibiza and cordobas too, the arch liners generally can be made to accomodate any kind of mudguard.
