Car not starting!

Hi,

Need some help here since I can't get a hold of my Seat dealer (vacation times...).

My Cupra won't start. Electronics seem fine. Everything seems normal until you turn that last bit of the ignition when nothing at all happens. All fuses are fine (both under the dash and on the battery).

Is there something else I can check before I have to call the towtruck? :(

Have you tried bump starting the car?
Sounds like it could be the starter motor or ignition switch or maybe a relay.

If your Cupra is an Ibiza, its probably the ignition switch. Same as Polo/Lupo/Arosa/MKIII Golf-all these have suffered many years of ignition switch failure.
If its a Leon, the energiser wire to the starter has probably broken or come adrift.

poss an imobiliser fault. i the same prob on my works van. afraid its a dealer fix though
