Hi.. my mate just bought a totally standard '98 Saxo VTS, tape player and all.. with him not having any money now i offered the ALANA CD/Radio from my Ibiza.
I got the original Citroen HU out no problem.. turns out they're both made by Grundig and are very similar, put the plugs in the ALANA unit, turn the ignition and theres a buzzing noise and '1000' displayed on the screen.
So i start going through the manual.. it says to hold down the PTY button, there will be a bleep and the type in the security code. Problem is there was no bleep and putting the security code in doesn't make any difference.
Has anyone else had trouble with putting the Code in these units, or have any suggestions as to what's going on??
