hi folks, after reading the disscussion on atmos dump valves it put me off but as i liked the noise i kept looking for one advertised for a lcr and i came across baileys evo dv26-d, so straight away i was on the dog and bone asking them for reassurance, and they told me that they had been fittting these paticular dump valves on the audi tt 225bhp for a couple of years with no problems at all, so with that i have one on mine now and it sounds sweet, wooshy wooshy.

Its still supposed to be a closed loop system so running something that vents cant be that good for the system as a whole.

I have an everlasting tank of petrol if you're interested

I've only tested it for 10 miles, never done any experimentation, or validation - but you cna buy it for £200

It took 8 months for problem to appear on mine with an APR map, but then I started getting fault codes and soft limp mode, with my custom map it took 2 days!

Whoever told you they've been running atmo valves for 2 years on 225's is telling fibs - VAG engines use a closed loop system and it has to stay that way to work properly, NO exceptions.

Get a metal CAI and you'll hear your DV just fine.
