How can u be getting a UK spec car if they don't build one to that pec for the UK ?

Make sure you register the car via your dealer with SEAT UK to activate the warranty and best to pay £20-£30 to get it checked on the 1551 to make sure it is set up correctly.

Also don't forget the warranty runs from when the Holland dealer registers the car which in some cases could be over a month before you get it.

I ordered my Ibiza Cupra from Holland some 9 weeks ago now and was told 17 weeks delivery!. The Dealer has been very helpful and kept in touch all the time. I have recently been told that the car will be ready in 3-4weeks. Fantastic, thats 5 weeks off the initial expectation. I am getting a black cupra with all the options you have listed, including alarm/immobilisor. With alot of homework, I managed to get the car for £10200 OTR http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/wink.gif , assuming the euro stays at 1.61 to the pound or better.

steve3961, If you want the name of a reputable dealer I can give you a contact. They are even paying for my train ticket (Amsterdam to Dealer) and fuel back.

Swinney/Flapper, I will be bringing my car to yourselves for warranty registration, and no doubt servicing when needed. I must thank Daz for all the information he provided from June onwards. I have been on this site alot since then and the car seems to appeal to me even more when in read peoples comments.

Can't wait to get RSD 210 conv and PSS9 kit. Hope this won't affect my warranty at all?? How much will you charge for an extra 2 years extended warranty?

Regards
TROG.

Just waiting for price confirmation on extended warranties - should be about £150 -£200 per year and available up to 8 years

I gather RSD give a 3year warranty on their modified parts. So if I extend my warranty to 3 years with yourselves, everything should be covered. Correct? http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/confused.gif . I would hope that the RSD conv and the PSS9 kit would not limit my Seat warranty in any way. Especially if I deal through Amathyst http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif
