Hi guys,

Wasn't really sure what forum to post this in but anyway....

I've just stumbled across a car cleaning system that just blows away anything I've used in the past (turtle wax, AutoGlym, Zymol)....it's called Meguiars (www.Meguiars.co.uk) and is just absolutely amazing. I bought the 3 stage deep crystal clean for my Elise and it's come out looking AS NEW :D If all the other products in the range are like this i can't recommend it enough.....anyone else tried it?

Not personally, but some of the US based Scoobynet guys talk highly of meguiars.

Not been easy to get in UK 'til recently.

I've never seen it in shops m8, only to order online. Took about 4 days to arrive, only drawback is it costs about a pound a bottle to ship....they're based in Worcester I think, if that makes it any easier??

POTN should be soon (says it was done on 1st july but nowt yet)

ive seen bits in my local halfords too, altho most of it is ownbrand stuff that no-one buys. Never catch on these stores do they, give us the stuff we want and we will buy it, stock your own sh*te in copious quantities and we still wont buy it.

:dunno:

I ordered the catalogue the other day and it does sound impressve. I was planning get the 3 stage deep crystal set which is about £24 for all 3 polishes. Also I think I polished my car a bit to hard and have given it some swirl marks so may get the Scratch X (I think its called that as well). I'll let you know what its like. Although I haven't used any of it yet if the text in the catalogue is to be believed then it sounds great.
I recently used Merr polish which sounded good as you could apply it in direct sunlight but this was when I got my swirl marks cos you have to rub fairly hard to remove it. Still I was useing Autoglym polishing cloths so was surprised to get any swirl marks.
