tape adapters that work with the Aura HU?

Hi guys,

I had a tape adapter so I can use my PDA every so often in the car which worked great in my old tolly (had an alpine HU w/CD Changer in boot) but putting in the tape adapter into the Aura it sits there trying to switch between forward and backwards...

Are there any that work with the Aura HU. I want to keep my cd changer so don't want to add the convertor in the back.

I have a cheap goodmans one that I use sometimes, It sounds like the tape adapters is a bit stiff and the HU thinks its got to then end of the tape.

i've tried dismantling it and puttin it back together unsuccessfully

couldn't find one dirt cheap so i got one for 7 quid from asda, has once or twice flipped about from for to rev,but on the whole spot on :)

THey will flip if both of the spindles aren't connected. When the none driven spindle stops spinning the HU thinks the take is at the end and flips over.

Ahhh ok, i'll nip into Asda and get a new adapter and give that a whirl
