Don't listen to 'em Andy, I thought mine was clean!

Anyway got a couple of questions about the Headlight Kit everyone's been talking about, you seem to be in the know.

Havn't driven my Coop in the dark much till recently, noticed that the headlight beam isn't that wonderful, would this kit make them much brighter http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/confused.gif .

Also is it me or is there a dark patch right in front of the car on dip - very strange! http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/frown.gif would it cure this aswell.

Cheers,

Scott

The replacement bulbs are brighter but they also offer a nice clearer white light which improves visibility in my experience, I'd recommend them.

The hole in the light directly in front of the bonnet line is apparent on mine too. If you're bothered with it, just adjust the headlight level down a tad with the adjuster inside the car (next to the light switch and dimmer)

"Put your fogs on" Ewwww. Andy. How dare you. Not another loads of lights on a clear night evening... http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/biggrin.gif

Front fogs are for poor visibility... Tutt tutt. - sorry its a bug bare of mine. Renaults seem to only have these on all the time from the factory, foggy or not... Blinding if your coming the other way... Gives me a headache at night squinting to see the road.
The Xenons do give that little bit extra whiter light, but the lights are good anyway I think on the Ibiza. Much better than my A6 on dip for sure which is nice. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/smile.gif

Bill

wot model you have ?? if its a leon i know a imple trick to tell if ya lamps are adjusted ok , and you can adjust em yaself , dark patch sounds like they may be offline slightly

LEON , park paralell to a wall with both lamps on normal beam , no. plate to wall distance 6ft

lamp beams should be 2ft high ,and widest points 10ft apart , use a card over the lamps to hide the beams and you'll see the edges dissapear/reappear etc , just mark and measure

if its the ibiza let me know and ill measure em up to see wot they are too
