i need to get some sort of chip remap i want the best, apr? or jabba jus dont know plus i need phone numbers and prices then i can be happy:rolleyes:
APR Europe www.apreurope.com
apr@apreurope.com
Telephone: 01327 301901
Jabbasport www.jabbasport.com
sales@jabbasport.com
Telephone: 01733 211779
Depends what you want really. I've got the Jabba chip with adjustable boost and it's excellent all for about £450 (£330 without boost control). APR offer more toys and cost with theirs so it's upto you. Jabba is a couple of hundred miles down the A1 to Peterborough, not sure where your nearest APR place is.
The advice of an ex Teessider is Jabbasport

thanx 4 the numbers and advice can u get cruise control with the jabba chip or not:confused:
I think you can get it fitted as an aftermarket thing anyway by Awsome or someone, but I'd check first. I know it fits a standard car so I don't think the remap matters, it just needs activating in the ECU. It works with an Oettinger chip so I can't see why it wouldn't with any other.

If you've got the cash, the world is your oyster mate. Jabbasport do alsorts of conversions, how much power do you want, 300BHP ?, they can do it and a bit more if can afford it. Beware of extra mods to cope with it though, clutch, brakes etc, it all adds up.

true true and insurance probably wouldnt be friendly:mad: , how long would it take jabbasport to fit me in , is there much of a waiting list or not??
blkcupra:cheers:
Couple of weeks probably, can't really say. Give them a bell and they'll answer all your questions and worries, great team of people.

Id go for the 200 ish conversion like I did. Not to much stress on the car and isnt too much money and its quick enough! if you want silly power it will cost LOADS cause u need clutches, uprated pistons, turbos, manifolds, injectors, fitting costs and costs 1000's the straight 200 conversion u can see bout 210bhp which is plenty for a car this size with these brakes and supspension etc. Jabbasport got a mental 400bhp golf which is so fast. U need to ask for a ride, Different league!!!
Andy, what did you get from yours? 2.5" Miltek fitted and Huricane?

I had the power loss problem with what some of the ibiza have I only got 187bhp, but this problem is nearly to the bottom of. With a Miltek and huricain you would expect about 220bhp. Im going back soon to get mine sorted free of charge

Hello,
I currently run a 20vt Ibiza with a K&N, i would like an ecu remap but i'm not sure who to go to! Any suggestions? I would like around 200BHP and maybe with boost control, dont want to sell my granny though!!!!! Any idea of costs and location?
Names etc at top of thread. APRs agent near you is Star Performance near Edinburgh I think, 01592 770377

how much is a miltec 2.5 exhaust gonna cost??
blkcupra
I got 210 without any extra flowing bits, so you can start there and add as you go, then remap to suit at about £30 a go. It's obviously best to add exhaust etc first if you are wanting them as it saves you a major journey each time.

I got mine trade and it was'nt a lot different believe me. Not much margin in it for Jim me thinks... Best go for it. You know its worth it.
I like em a lot now :D
Bill
