Anyone got a headunit to hand?

I am trying to put my old kenwood mp3 head unit in my Ibiza but I am having big problems with AM reception (cant even lock on to a station while scanning) - seat unit is perfect though.

I have an incling that there might be a problem with the aerial section of the kenny. I measured the resistance (dc) across the aerial socket on the kenny, and it was 140 ohms - however it was infinite on the seat unit. If anyone has a Kenny (or any other make I guess) around and a meter, could you check the resistance across the aerial connector?

Don't know about the Ibiza but on the Leon you need an aerial adapter to make MW/AM work properly.

I did need an adapter (I think it is actually an amplifier), and it boosts fm reception too which is nice (although radio text is still crap!)
