I'm fairly sure the front end of the mk4 Polo got a slight remodel at about the same time the mk2 Ibiza was - i've seen front end parts of mk4 Polo being listed for 96> cars in the past.

Did a quick visual check against a 98 Cordoba - and they are not the same shape sadly - the Ibiza / Cordoba has more of a curve to it.

Ah well - would look nice though

will 6N polo front bumpers fit on to pre '99 ibiza's?
I saw someone had put the F2 front bumper on thier polo.

The Polo is a few inches narrower at the front, so it won't fit.

Easy to cut in half & loose a bit, harder to put it back.

I have supplied headlamps from a VW Caddy 96 on, to for a Cordoba in the past, and they were the same. The standard Polo is not the same as a Seat, but the front end on the Caddy Van is.

Indeed, the vw caddy has the same front end as the Ibiza as does the polo salloon and estate and seat inca van. the polo salloons are very popular in germany
