Right, I'm in need of a set of Bosch 150 series injectors for a certain project of mine. I've been offed a set of 1600cc jobies which are waaay in excess for my requirements.

My question is would fitting these injectors be as bad as fitting injectors with insufficient fuelling?

1600cc??? each>??? no way man.. surely not that big.
mine 410bhp motor is running just short of 600cc as a ref.

Too big is goign to be bad news.. trust me
mapping to 0.1ms will result in too big a step change when trying to map it.

think about the 20VT ones and rail.. (which I have) - will take a piccy of them on the bodies.

Yup, 1600cc, 160 lbs/hr, 320hp 'Grey' injectors

I normaly take the sledgehammer to crack a walnut approach, but they struck me a touch excessive, even the green top ones.

I used to run blues... cant remember what cc they were off hand, but they were too big also.. getting emissions control for mot was a b*stard as 0.1ms of fueling adjustment tipped it from lean to rich on the test. (0.1ms being the minimum resolution on the DTA.

Think about the 20VT injectors on 3bar with its rail. Bargain if you can pick the lot up for £100 for example. (bell me m8)

also.. good news, got my missing machiend parts dropped in today out of the blue so orders back on go again pending Xmas out of the way.

That's the best news I've had all day:) , with mum being in hospital over christmas and all that :(

Jenveys come with rails dont they? So many choices - my head hurts!

I'll give the 20vt route some thought tho......

Jenveys dont come with rails but they do when you order them with them.
Robt's injectors are a known entity and a case of beer is a bargain for em.

Jenvey rail can be single of two piece, the 20vt one will take Robs injectors also, has intergral FPR and is neat. Just need to fab the adaption braketry to clamp to the bodies.

Hope you mum gets well soon m8.

Rails are included according to your parts list, most confused

I retained the FSE 'power boost' valve off my 1.4, I believe the adapter that replaces the oem FPR is the same proportions an will fit the 20vt rail.

Guess i'll be attending Awesome's event after all :)

Rob, whats you're weapon of choice? ;)
