What width are the rims & tyres, also what is the profile

have you had the camber checked by someone who didn't fit them yet?

quinch, my cars 35mm shorter and also still on standard 16" white multispokers and even on my wildest driving i have never ever rubbed, i put it all down to the alignment being carried out by the hunter machine, it does everything by computer, so your 1.5's while they might sound standard they may be somewhat off the real life alignment needed to keep it on the straight and narrow. I had mine done 3 times while on the lower 40-50mm Pi springs, each time done manually by kwik $hit. Not 100% about how you would sort the rears tho cause the hunter takes its calculations for the fronts from the rears. Also matey, the rears on a cordy sit in a fair bit from the arches so im wondering if your plastics may have moved a bit to cause rubbing?

had them done manually on a glorified spirit level the rears have ripped out one of the threaded parts that hold the plastic inners in whilst four up (oops) on the back. however my 16s (standards) when five up the other day didnt rub at all what i really want to know among other things is that 1, wots behind the plastic inner on the rear any ideas wot will happen if taken out 2 does anyone else whose running 17s catch on the inner archs at the front ive had to cut loads of plastic off the inner liners at the front is this norm? at the mo cars lookin a bit stupid with 17s on the front 16s on the back to stop the rears rubbing when out and about with lasses in the back also when putting the car on full lock tehy really do hit the inner wings alot is this norm quinch

there isnt much behind the plastics but metal, so any stones flicking or hitting the metal then it will rust that bit sooner, btw mine sometimes rubs on full lock but it doesnt anymore, think i was just barely rubbing and now it doesnt so whatever it was touching has worn just enough to do the job!
