I'm looking to buy this...

clicky (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-VW-VOLKSWAGEN-2-BUTTON-REMOTE-FLIP-KEY-COMPLETE_W0QQitemZ4598859135QQcategoryZ9889QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

As my Dad has this for his A6 (Well, the Audi one has a Panic and a Boot only button).

The VW one has a blank keyblade, I can get that cut no problem... but can I get that chip programmed?

I brought one a couple of months back for my Toledo but never got round to getting it coded. It's been sat around in the garage for the past couple of months and as i no longer have a need for it (found my spare key benind the fridge of all places  ), it's now on Ebay. If your interested have a look at Click me (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4600222263&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1) ;)

key blade - easy to cut

immobiliser chip - swap from own key (no program reqd)

remote locking - CAN be done but ask for frequency off the side of it first and see if it matches up with yours - NB even then its not 100% as some of them are fixed/rolling

The key has a frequency of 434 MHz
