problem with engine management

Hi everyone,

I think it should be hotter.

Anyway, I have ibiza cupra 1.8T. All that I have done at the moment is put a K&N filter on. Recently my engine managemnt light has been coming on. The seat garage near me are as good as a chocolate tea pot. The car i believe is over fueling.
Is there anyway round this?

Saying all this, I am going to Jabba a week on thursday to get the car chipped. Will they sort this problem out when they set the car up.

Probably broken MAF (air mass sensor). Go to the dealer and ask them to read the ECUs fault codes. If you got a CEL (Check Engine Light) you'll have a fault code logged in, dealership doesn't need to be "up to the job" to fix this.

90% sure its MAF sensor problem, if you get any codes like,
system too LEAN/RICH its maf.. k&n no good for maf sensors..
