View Full Version : How can they sell far more Toledos?

I just don't understand, why they don't sell more Toledos in UK and Ireland. I feel, that if more people truly realised just how good the car is eg. Looks, comfort, ability and quality etc etc.
They should advertise someone driving a smart looking Toledo up to an outside cafe in Paris, and stop some of the sportscar nonsense. I admit Cupra Rs are fantastic etc; but surely something a bit more on the executive line. I'm not trying to tell people how to do their jobs. I just wish Toledos could break in to the UK and Irish market more. I have seen a few going around not far from Exeter. There is some hope!! I think my Toledo is a marvellous car though!!

you will probably find most of em are either V5 or Tdi and owned by lease companies :):)

remember though that the toledo came out first too

and that they're pushing SEAT as the sporty brand, yet make the toledo not sporty looking

Great to hear, that there are plenty of Seats in Belfast. At least the buying public show good taste and common sense.

SEATS are pretty much as common as fords,vw and vauxhalls these days here, though finding modded versions is a bit more difficult to find. have seen a few ibizas, two other modded cordies two modded leons and also a couple of toledos with subtle kits.

I would say most of the Toledo's in NI are all imports from the south as approx £13K will get you an TDi SE equivalent car, though Seat UK are doing a £12,995 SE in NI.

I would say most of the Toledo's / Leon's are TDi due to the cheaper diesel available across the border !!

I own a Toledo. Bought it without test driving it. One of the best things i've done too. Oh and i'm new to this forum. Been a lurker for some time so just decided to join.

The 'Resurrecting The Oldest Thread' award goes to our newest member craggsy. Welcome.

In reply to the original near-2-year old post - ppl don't buy non-exec saloons much, nobody buys Boras, Polo saloons etc
