How much power do you want? What do you listen to? How much money have you got to play with:

I've got a VDO 4X150 watt RMS amp, 2 channels bridged to a 500 watt 12" Sony sub. That's about £500 installed and really packs a punch.

What about your corner speakers, of which there are six? I've got Infinity 4X6" replacements in the back, Pioneer components in the front, and it sounds good, not excellent, but much better than standard. ICE gets expensive!

Anyways, let us know a few more details and we'll see if we can help you further.

i've got a pioneer HU, 6" mids and 1.5" tweeters replacing standard fronts, a set of pioneer 6x9's in boot and a 600W infinity sub in boot, a 300w pioneer 4way amp driving mids, tweeters and 6x9's and a 250w alpine amp driving sub. The info i wanted was how to correctly size a sub box cos' i'm building a custom box for my sub!!

i've had a reply from peter stewardson, and he's given me the cubic capacity required to correctly distribute the vibes!! approx 0.35m3 for a 12" sub.

it's now a matter of stripping the boot install out tonight and being a garage hermit all weekend till it's done!!

cheers

Be nice to see what it look like and sounds like when it's done. The 250 watt amp to the sub will have its work cut out but that's just a question of taste and how much bass you want!

Good luck with the install...
