What is the computer detecting when the pollution light comes on on the dash?

one of a dozen things mate, get vagcom onto it, probably coil packs or lambda probe.

Just for information incase you didn't know.

My Pollution Light was my Coils, which are covered a 5 year warranty because there is a recognised problem!

AND Seat changed all 4! :D

If you didn't already know the pollution light is the engine warning light!
