Veeeeeeeery interesting - it looks right hand drive.
This could be a very very very rare beast.
I have now enquired about it.

P.s. I am looking for another car did't think it would be another Cordoba coupe ;)

Don't forget the new face came in before the 20v Turbo's came out this could be an interim model which was never publicised. Well spotted.

Yeah - needs dropping etc.
Trouble is have already done all of the tuning / mod stuff to 'ol yeller - was thinking this would be less obtrusive
A set of 17's would'nt go amiss....

And before you ask I wouldn't sell old yeller.
I wonder if there are any RHD TDi coupes with the phase 2 fort about now that would be really rare.
my mums just recently bought a mkII ibiza and while we were there I questioned whether or not there would be a new mkIV cordy and his reply was positive!! seat were waiting on a european response beforelaunching it in the u.k but by the sounds of things it's a goer!!!
i'm up for one in 12 months or so anyway!!
i've actually got a red mkIII like the one in your picture and i'll be at the vwnw meeting on the seat stand next week if anybodies interested. it's still fairly basic but it's a chipped TDI with 17"'s and a fairly average I.C.E mod inside!!
let me know if it turns out to be genuine mate, be interested to find out! could pop along and take a peek, but i'd probably end up buying it:D
just imagine it with a new shape WRC kit on! lush:D ;)
should be getting a WRC spoiler in a couple of weeks, haven't got the money to buy the full kit in 1 go!! slowly but surely!!
there were 2000 MKIII cordy's built last year and in Y2K, mine being a W Reg. very nice motor, and very fast!!

no, i'm afraid it's not the coupe, they'd sold all coupe's the week before i started looking, l was completely gutted, the one i wanted was the sxe 2dr 110bhp, in anthracite, it looked an amazing motor, i saw it for sale at a dealers on the internet but when i rung the guy who'd bought had picked it up that morning!! i've got the 4dr in flash red, 90bhp chipped to 120bhp with a piperX induction kit which gives a few bhp also. it's a mean fat low flying machine whcih i'll keep a couple of years, but i've got my eye on the new 150bhp toledo signo sport!!

There Andover branch is about 1/4 mile from my home, so I'll have a wander down tomorrow and see if they have it there as I need to start looking for a car for my other half (probably a Yaris or 206- see doesnt like Ibiza's or Arosas)
They always have Ibiza's in there by the way

God! Seeing that ad almost made me wet myself. Year old? Only thing is I'd lose a lot of toys trading up: Sun-roof + air-con, or is the air-con standard? Anyways, I like mi roof!
Other thing is, and this is personal taste, but don't you think it looks a bit girlie? Wolf in sheep's clothing yes, girlie no.
Come on Seat, pull your finger out. We're just so strung up on anticipation for a Cordy with the new Seat styling and engines. You know it makes sense!

Good spot on the sun roof - must have air con
Mine has both - only opened the roof twice - once to check the tilt function and once to check it opened fully :rolleyes:
Yes it does look a bit girly if you've seen some of the european modded phase 2 Cordoba coupes.
