Connecting MP3 player to Alana HU

Hi

Does anybody know if I can connect an mp3 player by buying a lead to plug into the CD changer port on the Alana unit on our Ibiza TDI Sport?. We dont have a CD changer in the car so it would seem like a good way to connect the mp3 player.

Yes you can. Then just select CD changer as input source and the mp3 player will play through the alana amplifier. I was going to just make up a cable myself but I think I'll get one of the Dension kits. http://www.caraudioplus.co.uk/products.asp?recnumber=4360

They work with the car hifi so track info is shown (ID3 tags), the alana buttons control the ipod etc.
