funny noise

hiya lads, hopefully sum1 can help me out here, but when i give my ibiza 1.8 turbo sum pig, it seems to make a funny whistling/screech noise, ive had it chipped exhaust and forge d/v can anybody shed sum light on this? cheers lads

Where is this whilstle/screech sound come from? Is it boost related when you accelerate? Is it from the engine bay?

Need a bit more info.

hiya bill, yeah it seems to be when i accellerate, and the turbo comes in, and yep it appears to be coming form the engine bay. my thoughts were d/v leak maybe. hope u can help me! cheers

hiya bill, sorry i havnt replyed before, have had a hectic weekend. it would be appriciated if i could come and show u the noise im getting from my car, yeah ur only about half an hour away from me so that would be great. hope to hear from u soon
