Hi, Yesterday I purchased a 1.6 Cordoba Coupe, registered 1st Jan 99 so someone must have been at work on New Years day! I bought it over a Kiwi one as my girlfriend hates the colour and it also had twice the mileage for more money!
It got 33K on it and is mint. Its a dark red in colour, anyone know its proper name?
I'll soon be modifying it although not to the show standard of my Old mondeo!
I'll be hanging about around these Forums picking up advice on these rare cars but I do know plenty about dubs having owned a suceesion of Golfs and Polos.
Thats the introduction over, now you can all give me info on whether 40mm lower and an F2 bumper means excessive scraping!!
Welcome!
Does it look like http://www.seatcupra.net/images/P2151651S.jpg if so - Martyn (web designer) has one
You will probably want slightly bigger rims if you're lowering & want an F2 bumper else you'll be digging up road bumps.

Jeez!!!
I thought that was my car!!! Thats scarily exactly the same!
Further investigation into the photos though it is different.
1) you cant see my exhaust, the rear valance is different
2) the front valance is deeper on mine, like the Ibiza one
3) The interior trim is Black with navy blue, not grey like his!
Its weird how there are so many subtle differences with his being an R reg and mine an S reg!
I've already ordered some 17's Dare RL-S in White, they should look mint!
that's Jose in the factory's best attempt to ensure that no two cars leave the factory the saem.
White Dare's should look mint
Radcordy,

Cheers Guys,
Does my Cordoba have standard suspension? It rides harder and handles better than my moms wallowy polo anyway?
I'll b getting its sorted anyway cus its still too soft!
OVV, yeah I'll think about it mate. Did these parts come off a 1.6?
How much of an improvement is the filter? Does it improve sound? Its just that on previous cars, induction kits dont really feel any better and sometimes make the car run badly! (ive only had probs with a JR kit on a Golf and a K&N on a Mondeo)
I'm interested anyway!
One question I hope you can answer, How big are the rear speakers? I hear infinty make direct replacements? Are they any good?
