Rear screen demister

Is it just my car or are the rear screen demisters on toledo's a waste of time.

If I turn it on to get rid of condesnsation in the morning it has only minimal effect after 15Mins.

If anyone else has had a different experience then please let me know before I shout at the dealer (they said this was the norm with this car)

It is normal, it's annoying and some time just pisses me off.

The Rear demister on my Toledo V5 clears the screen in just a few minutes!!

Perhaps there is a problem with yours!

If you turn on the aircon for a few mins as well then that may help!

mine clears in minutes as well, it could be a faulty switch, mine had it changed early on which cured the problem, I belive they have a cut out timer in them to prevent it being left on too long which could be too sensitive

I don't know, but when the rear is very misty (condensation on the outside of the window) in the morning I need a good 10 minutes for the condensation to clear.

Mine never actually clears properley so I suspect there is something wrong with it.

Back to the dealer I suppose (not that I am expecting them to actually sort it out)
