Avoid all SEAT Arnold Clark dealerships like the plague.

Took them two and half months to replace a part in my Leon 20VT ; and even then they refused to offer compensation.

Tried to fob me off with a shitty little 1.0 Punto with a broken handbrake cable.

Eventually relented after SEAT UK sat on them, and I got a Toledo TDi for the rest of the duration until my car was fixed.

They had claimed that SEAT had not delivered the part but couldn't explain why I'd seen the part sitting in the back seat of the car two weeks after I'd dropped it off for repair.

SEAT UK gave me a 6-disc changer for compensation.

I now use Glenvarigill in Perth, from whom I receive fantastic service.

Gregor,
Think yourself lucky you did'nt buy a Peugeot from them, i did (306gti-6). It broke a timing belt 20,000 miles early and to cut a very! long story short(it broke on 30th October 2000) the top end has been rebuilt 5 times so far at two seperate branches and had to get the crankshaft replaced after they split the bottom end and rebuilt it with the old shells. I have just run that in and it now has to go back in to get the head looked at again! Peugeot UK have been as useless as the dealers and I am getting nowhere,
Gary Taylor.(disgusted)
