Does anyone have any news on if or when the seat leon will be available with the 150BHP diesel engine??
Ive seen it advertised on import for 12,700 but in LHD only.
Heard it may be available in cupra R form over here soon but ive also heard people say lee bowyer is a nice bloke!!
Appologies if this is an old question or something but Ive only just discovered and joined this site!!
Cheers, any help would be appreciated so I can get rid of my Ford!!!

Following on from the FAQ URL that was posted a while back I entered into an email conversation with Seat UK:

> It has been available in europe for a long time. Why has your
web site got a direct reference to 2002 and the tdi150?
>
>Could you also explain to me the model range, because as far as I can see, the person who 'creates' your model ranges is a bit confused.

>So, from the sporty section of the VAG group I have to get a model from the small-car range to obtain a reasonably powerful tdi?

>Why does Seat UK deem that bringing the tdi150 to the UK is not worthwhile?

>I know of one import company that is supposed to have deliveries of Toledo tdi150 in approx October. Can you confirm that I will be able to obtain the same type of car from your uk dealers at a similar time?

With reference to 2002 launch date this is referring to the Launch in Europe
and as per Internet no launch date has been finalised at present.

With reference to your question regarding small and medium vehicles we are
referring to the size of the vehicle not the engine size.

In regards to your question regarding the Sporty Car you would need to go
for a Ibiza Sport which our sports car on the market at the moment.

With regards to your final comments, we do not have any launch dates for the
Leon TDi 150 as they have not been finalised.

Most probably will, as the Golf is revised next year and will have the new 2.0 TDi engine in various forms, more interestingly of all the 180bhp version.

OK.

Never mind the TDI 150 then just skip to the TDI 180 -- Mr UK Seat.

I don't think you read these forums anymore.....
