Hey just wondering if anyone has found difrence in performance between a 12 inch sub n a 10inch one?

As a general rule of thumb...
12" is more bassy but cannot keep up with fast dance beats
10" Not as bassy but good for danc/fast beats

But if you buy a good sub not a cheap one then the only difference you'll find is the 12" MIGHT drop a little lower.

This is very true-the new Type X 10"er and JLW7 spring to mind!!
So, can you follow this down to an 8"? With the Ibiza being a small car and with a small boot, is a (good) 8" sub the way to go?

Depends which 8... Plus if you want loud punchy bass a pair ( or more ) of 8's will be awesome.
Crystal CMP 10, what a 10" sub!!!
