DOSE ANYONE KNOW IF THAT WOOSH TYPE DV THAT PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT IS ANY GOOD? IF SO WHAT IS THE WEB ADDRESS FOR THE COMPANY? 2nd THING, I HAVE ORDERED FULL CUPRA R BREMBOS FOR MY CAR. I NEVER ORDERED SEAT BRAKE HOSES AS THEY ARE £100 EAEH SIDE (RIP OFF). I NEED TO ORDER A SET OF BRAIDED HOSES, I KNOW THAT THE HOSES HAVE TO BE 260mm LONG AND M10 CONNECTIONS ON EACH END. Give my friends a call ay Autotechnik down in Totton nr Southampton. They do mail order. Tel: 02380 ****** (tell them Bill sent ya)
They can make some up for you (braided stainless hoses) as they have the spec of fittings etc..
You will be missing not only the hoses, but the adaptors and elbows also if you did'nt order the hydraulic parts from SEAT.

I HAVE ORDERED ELBOWS, JUST NOT THE HOSES, BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO DEAR. HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK THE BRAIDED ONES WILL COST ROUGHLY?;)

There is a connecting piece and elbow for each caliper

You have both I presume.
For price you are best speaking with Autotechnik direct on this.
As a guide the inc VAT hose kit I offer which is a 2 part (part solid, part flexi) costs as follows:-
Brake Hose-Solid £37.60
Brake hose Flexi £42.30

I LOOKED BACK AT THE FORUM TO WHEN YOU WERE FITTING YOUR BREMBOS, WHY DID YOU USE SOLID PIPES AND THEN BRAIDED. WHY NOT USE THE ELBOWS AND JUST LONGER BRAIDED PIPES????? ALSO I HAVE ACE 197s 17"/ 7". IM NOT SURE WHAT THE OFF SET IS ON THEM, WHAT OFF SET DO I NEED MORE THAN TO MAKE THEM FIT WITHOUT SPACERS, IS IT >38mm ??????? also do you know what the exact connection is on the car to go onto the braided hoses, is it M10 MALE ON THE CAR????

I used part solid part flexi as advised by Alan @ Autotechnik. Part cost, part function. The longer (read very long) flexi is liable to flap about, so we thought a minimal flexi and solid copper to caliper connection would work equally if not better. Its as long as its short now.
Critical dimension to check on your wheel, is the hub face to the rear of the wheel spoke. You will need more than 38mm.
As a guide, the Ibiza-R wheels are 7x16 ET35 OZ's and they obviously clear.
Give Autotechnik a call re the hoses. Alan has the dimensions and fittings required. (02380 ******)
