Anyone know what security a new v5 comes with as standard is it cat 1 or 2 or nowt ?.

Reading off the latest Thatcham Compliance sheet, you can find it at www.thatcham.org look under security.
Anyway, i had a look, and it seems to only list the Toldeo as Cat2 Immobiliser, even though its alarmed, like the Leon it doesn't comply for Cat 1 status, though i think the Leon Cupra R does?
So if its a stipulated you must have a Cat 1 system you'll have to add an aftermarket alarm system, like a Clifford or similar.
