I require a set of roof bars for my Leon.

Do the Seat bars lock to the car?

Anyone got some Thule bars? Are they OK?

A bit pivved since I had a set of Thule bars for my previous car and these will not fit the Leon. They fit most cars, simply by replacing a set fitting adaptors. Seats? No, buy a complete new custom set of bars?

I'm using the Thule bars. I usually like the Thule stuff but I must admit that the kit they sell for the LEON/TOLEDO pretty much sucks!

They cause way to much wind noise.

the genuine SEATs are , i think, made by thule anyway
they look great and lock on.('cept i lost an end cover when i forgot to lock it,:o )
They're about £150 in UK (£70'ish in spain btw)

I'm pretty sure they do but the thule 4305 (??) kit that they make for the LEON/TOLEDO does not use the original screw type adapter. Instead they grip onto the sides door sills. They create quite a bit of wind noise.
