Just got an Arosa 1.4se (1999), to replace my Micra that someone thought would make a nice bonfire  and the factory installed unit is pants.

Probably going to put in a Kenwood MP3 head but no amp at the moment, maybe later and I`m never gonna fit a bass box. Looking for others experience/thoughts on:

Replace the door mounted speakers with better units, do most speakers fit in OK, 17cm units aren`t they?

Replace the tweeters in the front, how are they fixed?

Do any Arosa`s have rear speakers fitted at the factory, if so where? ( I know most people say rears ruin the imaging but I like a bit of fill in at the back, and it drowns out the noise of the kids:rolleyes: so I`m not looking to fit massive units)Is there room behind the trim in the side. The parcel shelf looks too flimsey to fit anything in, 3.5" units might fit but the strengthening would have to be cut. I could make a new shelf out of MDF or something but don`t really want to, I will if I have to though.

Wiring. whats the factory installed speaker wiring like, is it worth replacing. The current radio is wired to be always on, WHY!, wheres the best place to wire for on with ignition.

thanks guys, hopefully
