Do you have any set dates of how long this GB will last?

I am definately interested, however could do to save some pennies first.

I doubt very much it will fit-its tight enough behind the standard bumper!!

just read the fitting insructions to look at the pipes etc.

Honestly does the Headlight need to be removed, could not quite work out a reason for removing it. Anyoen who's fitted let me know, have'nt heard anyone else comment on this and did not need to remove it when i fitted the seat sport front mount on the old car.

I have read the instructions and from my point of view it SHOULD be possible. BUT it mainly depents on the diameter of the pipes (and till now nobody can tell me this). If I know the diameter than I can do some measurements and so.

Your best bet is to just follow the instructions chap, as they are very good, and even an amature like me managed to fit mine by following the guide. Anyway, how hard is it to take the light out? not very, couple of bolts and out it comes in about 5 mins max. So my advice to you is, just do it ;) .
The seat one is desighned for the car by seat, where as the forge one is also designed for it but using universal pipe diamiters so maybe thats why you have to take it out.

i did andys without removing the headlight , its a bugger to get sitting correctly after refitting , all u need is a "dumpty" short driver -flat head

When fitting this FMIC would i need to drill the crash bar to fit it? - Is there any cutting/modification required - i.e. if i had to put everything back to normal could the dealer tell i had fitted it?

Cheers

P.S - the price definately includes VAT?

ForgeMotorsport
16-02-2006, 10:07
There is no drilling of your bumper because we supply you with a new one
there is very little cutting and the car will go back to standardd
