feck knows. I just know you cupra boys really really want your car to sneeze between gear changes :p so I posted this.
From what i can see in the article, it seems that they are bleeding air out of the line that controls the DV, this is surely going to give you a slower response from the DV and wont open properly either?, you might gain the whooshy dv noise, but you are almost certainly going to increase the lag betwen gearchanges and it will ultimatly be lslowing your car down, it wouldnt show up in a RR or vag dyno because these are both done it a single gear,
This is one mod i wouldnt recommend to anyone unless you are happy to accept a performance loss just to get a whooshy DV noise (i cant see it being very loud anyway from the way its being done)

If you try it on a chipped car the first one to try this actually risks cracked or fractured vanes on your impellor!!, this mod actually bleeds out the air thats needed to lift the piston in the DV!, if it isnt set at a very low bleed on the two valves (which are doing exactly the same job!!) then the DV wont open and you will have a huge amount of back pressure building up against the vanes, my guess is that you could be pushing something like 50psi before the turbo stalls and stops spinning
Yeah, but imagine that 50psi entering your engine as throttle body opens :devil:
