Anyone know if you can fit the Audi / VW key switch to enable / disable the passenger side airbag for a Seat Toledo?

Dont know about the key, but I had the airbags in the seats turned off in my Leon when I had it chipped so I can stick some Cobras in it:D

Thanks.

I know it can be done with Vag-com or some of the other diagnostic tools but I would like to be able to turn it on or off as required - rear facing child seat in front needs it off !!

Depends on the year of the car.

If no actual key, then a 50 ohm resistor has to be fitted to the end of the cable.

why don't you just remove the fuse or remove the airbag control unit?

Prolly a few reasons including warrantee and insurance.

You should NEVER put a baby in the front seat even if the airbag is disabled. The recomended option is to have the airbag removed as it could deploy anyway thus killing the baby.

Better pay and have it taken out than having a dead child..
