I have an apr chip on my ibiza 20vt.
After that ecu switches to safemode about 1 hour driving.
To the diagnostic tool apears the fault [poor mixed air].
Reseting the ecu and 1 hour after same think.
It is mafs failure?
Any help boys.

Have you got an induction kit, or is the chip the only mod you have?

The only mods that he has, are APR's chip and one Forge DV006..
When reseting the ECU all work fine...but after one hour driving he has the same problem...SAFEMODE..
Maybe the problem isn't the chip...(i have the same and it works perfect)...
What else...any ideas?
It does not sound unambiguously a MAF failure, but how knows?!
Just simply unplug your MAF. Will not do any harm to your engine (or CAT) using the car 1-2 days like this! Though, this will cause you a CEL (Check Engine Light) and EPC & TCS/ESP lights + lower RPM with cold engine and no aux. air pump. Don't give a s.it, if you car won't limp this way you may consider a MAF replacement.

The APR it is allmost sure for maf malfunction.
They send me e-mail before two days.
