I'm after a bit of advise about installing this unit. There is a cable that needs to be connected to the handbrake switch so that the screen will activate whilst watching movies only when the handbrake is on.

I want to bypass this so that a movie can be played without the handbrake being on.

Basically, can anyone tell me where I need to connect this wire to activate the screen?

just dont connect it i believe.
Brother has this in his car. ill check it with him and get bacl to u mate!

Tried that already, but the screen just comes up with a warning and doesn't show anything. Sound play's but no visual!

just spoken to him. cable that goes to handbrake - strip end and connect to live feed. and then will work. (just spoken to him)

Don't connect it to a live feed...

The handbrake wire needs to be earthed, not connected to live.

How do you find the Pioneer? Are you planning to install the Vehicle Dynamics addon??
