Forum to support days prior to MarkP's Alconbury Track Day, November 1st

For any bods wanting any info about Peterborough, send in your reqs to here and I'll see what I can do.

The local Seat dealer is Stoneacre, and they don't usually have any quick cars up there, but I do know the service manager there. I'll have a chat with him if anyone's going to pay them a visit to lay something on.

Again, feel free to ask for any info and I'll do my best to get summat sorted.

Cheers,

Cheers,
Was thinking of popping up there the day before.
Will know more when I book the time off.

No problem. It's a little early to start putting lots of work into this but a bit closer to the time, I'll get some stuff posted on here so you can decide for yourself what you'd like to do.

In the meantime, as soon as the Alconbury event has been confirmed, I'll inform our local Seat dealership and ask them if they'd like to get involved somehow. Watch this space.

Cheers,

Gentlemen, start your engines!
It's time to get ready for a track day or just a day out with fellow Seat drivers; a day to remember. To support the day and knowing that some of you will be coming to the Peterborough area the day before, I will be posting information about the area on this thread. Please feel free to e-mail me, PM me when I'm here or post a reply to this thread if you want anything specific.

In the meantime, I'll get in touch with the local garages and Peterborough's Seat dealership and let them know we're coming. As soon as I've got any feedback, rest assured I'll let you guys know.

BTW, just because I posted this in the Cordoba forum doesn't mean that I'm only supporting Cordoba owners, it's information for everyone, so feel free to keep tabs, check out the latest info and ask for, well, anything really, and I'll see what I can do.

Some things may take a little time to sort out as I'm working really hard with the band at the moment. Have a look at the Diaboli web-site to see what crap Dougal and I have had to put up with. The Croydon gig in September if cancelled, but we hope to be there once we've got a whole band back together. My sincere apologies for those of you who have already made arrangements to see us. Take my word for it though, we will be back!

Have fun and thanks for looking...

Latest update is that I've been back to Stoneacre and said that there's already a dealer getting involved. They're still aware of what's going on, so if anyone's in Peterborough on Friday or Saturday, they're open and know there could be some enthusaists visiting.

If anyone needs a hand for the best ways to get to Peterborough or Alconbury, let me know. Directly across the A14 is usually a nightmare unless you're well outside rush hour traffic, and even then it's accident prone and busy .

More updates later...
