I was wondering if somebody can give me some info about chiptuning a Seat Leon 1.8 20V.
Okay, i know it's not a turbo and it wouldn't make that much of a difference but has someone ever done it??

I'd call AMD and ask them.. Although they dont list the Seat 1.8 on their website, they claim to tune the Audi 1.8 non turbo engine.. So no reason why not a Seat?

think the gains are usually 10% on an otherwise stnd N/A engine,to get the best from a chip its best to get other mods you have planned first,if your going for head/cmas etc but from what i've heard the 20v head flows quite well in stnd form anyway:cheers:

Hi,

I've got one of these engines (more insurance friendly you see) and was also considering getting the chip upgrade, but since hitting 10,000 miles the car feels MUCH better from what I was expecting when I originally bought that car. :D

I also feel it's only going to get better.

FYI, I enquired into the chip from upsolute as they do list it on their website; "it doesn't lower where the torque kicks in" (which is what I wanted (maybe AMD will be better) but "it does make it more usefull". They quote an increase of BHP to 137.
