The moulded windows behing the back doors with the recess to provide access to the door handles are very complicated shapes. are they made of glass or plastic?

Looked at one in a showroom, and actually tapped the part trying to figure out what it was, and it is deffo plastic.

I did exactly the same when I looked at buying the car I have......:lol:
Lol, I did that too to the first leon I saw in the flesh!
It's made from Polycarbonate which is a thermoplastic.
It's a very tough hard wearing plastic, which can be used for bullet-proof glass, protective screens etc.

Unfortunately depending on the grade of plastic used it can have a tendancy to scratch extremely easily. Ipod nano anyone? :p
