dearest light bulbs ever

hi i have just fitted the dearest xenon bulbs ever , after picking my 1.9 tdi toledo from repairers yesterday ( some twit had reversed into my parked car ), i couldnt wait to fit the new lights i have had for a couple of weeks , anyway fitted them in at night had a little trouble with the side lights so i used long nose pliers to pull the conectors out . great all done thought i would go for a spin and see what lights looked like , started engine then crash-bang no power steering ? upon further inspection next day no pliers indoors belt had come off along with a/c pump clutch plate which had sheared off by falling pliers :cry: :cry: :cry: .rang seat they said if it needs new a/c unit fitted could be looking at £800 i have now found a local garage to repair it for £200 ish with recon parts fitted. now thats a dear set of bulbs,so DONT LEAVE TOOLS UNDER YOUR BONNET WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED WITH THEM . any one had similer experience?

Not exactly the same but I did once break a window when baring a wire for a stereo.

The wiring was a bit tatty in an old golf I had so I was putting my headunit in and cut the wires and was baring them ready for soldering. Was pulling a bit to get the plastic of the wire and it let go all of a sudden and i hit the inside of the window with the wire cutters.

That convinced me it was time to sell the thing as it was always falling apart
