Do you have to move it to an angle before it comes out?
Haven't tried it yet - cars in the bodyshop at moment.
I've tried yanking it and it won't pull off either. Didn't want to pull to hard incase roof lining came out as well.
Could try to prize the gap wider where it screws into.

I`ve got a 98 Beeza with a "Bee Sting" style aerial.
I dunno if this is the same on your newer Beezas?
R u trying to just remove the outer "sting" part or the whole aerial?
I`ve just replaced the whole unit on mine -
Remove the 3 pieces of plastic trim round the rear of the headlining. Its just a few screws/nuts/clips.
You can then flex the lining enough to get your arm & a spanner in through the hatchback & undo 1 BIG nut holding the whole thing on.
Its just 2 connectors that unclip for the aerial cable & the power wire to the built in amplifier unit & you can remove the whole thing.
Took about an hour to remove & replace.
After removing the old aerial, I found the "sting" part was screwed on so tight that it actually ripped apart the rubber/plastic coating b4 I could undo it.
If its gonna take this much force to remove you may be best off removing the whole aerial first coz otherwise you may f*uck the whole thing/bend your roof/scratch the paint/create a water leak etc.
Best of luck
Mine`s a pint of heavy.
it DOES come off. un-screw it, and bend it down, then pull like feck. or try pulling it off (ooh err) at an angle. it DOES come off, ive got a shortend silver one on my 20vt ibiza.
