MK4 door speaker wire colours??

Hi chaps

i took my mk4 ibiza door off a few days ago coz ive got a bust speaker. I have bought a set of Infinity reference components to replace the front door speakers.

my problem is that from memory i seem to remember that it wasnt a case of 2 wires going into the speaker?? is this true??

I need to know which colour wires are the +/- i need to use. Hope that someone can help me here. thanks

Why dont you claim new speakers of warrenty first and then put ur infinity's in, that way when it comes time to sell you can keep your infinity speakers and put good standard ones back?

because the car has now covered 63k miles and therefore out of warranty? unless audio is still covered??

There are two wires in and two wires out to the tweeters....

I take it you are replacing them aswell?

Sure its the wire with the solid line on is the negative.

I'm not too sure, doubt it. I had mine claimed when the car had done about 20K. What year is your car btw?
