Alpine 6 Disc changer in Leon

I've currently got my 6 disc alpine changed mounted in the tiny glove box. Now how many of you have relocated your changers to the boot and where abouts have you mounted them?

Would industrial velco hold the changer in place in the boot as i don't want to drill into anything.

Hi mate,

Which Alpine changer do you have in the glovebox? Is it the Alpine CHA-S634, or maybe one the same size? Do you have any pictures of it in there/any advice for fitting it? Was it a straightforward install into the normal spot?

The Alpine 6 disc changers fit perfectly in the standard spot once you trim about 2mm off the sides of the glovebox.

Ok, thanks for that mate. I'm not sure what to do now, whether it's worth the hassle when a Seat one would fit so neatly in, or whether to go the whole hog and plonk a new head unit in as well, maybe even an MP3 one and pretty much negate the need for the changer.

I'm prob getting my Alpine taken out, just doesn't look right in the dash, plus I swear it's the root of my rattles.

has any body on this forum ever heard of an ai net alpine cd changer being fitted to an ibiza mk3 i cannot find any sort of adapter from the standard cd changer connections to my alpine ai net cd changer any help much appreciated
