Hi Bill.

Just wondering, since ATE powerdiscs are no longer available for the MK3 Ibiza Cupra, what would be a good alternative for Discs? I also need good pads aswell.

Could you point me in right direction please?

Hopefully it would be kit that you could get hold of too.

Thanks mate.

Gav.

P.S. I'm running standard wheels.

I would suggest Brembo Max disks as an alternative. Should be quality castings and grooves will serve to help deglaze pads like power disk grooves did.
Available from GSF (http://www.gsfcarparts.com/images/60180F.jpg)

Having said that I cant find their "max" disk for G60 Corrado fitment (same as ibiza cupra)
Pad wise I reccomend DS2500's & Motul RBF600 brake fluid to go with them.
(£71+vat pads, £5.99+vat 500ml fluidx4 req'd for full bleed)

I can investigate the possibility of making 280mm disks in same configuration as ATE Power disks were, except mine would also be plated for corrosion resistance like I do on Brembo 305x28 upgrades.

if you can still get them go for it.. ATE Power Disks on MrsB Lupo.. with DS2500 pads. Stops well for OE setup.

Listed as Corrado G60 fitment (they have'nt cottoned onto seats yet)

Bill, i dont think you can get brembo max discs for the ibiza, do you have any other options available, i'm gonna order some DS2500's and some spacers off you at the end of the month and would be cool if you had some discs i could get, save me goin elsewhere. :D

Good luck getting the Brembo max discs. Car was ready to have them put on last Saturday at JKM, old brakes were stripped off and new stuff ready to go on and GSF sent 5 stud discs - doh! All the old was put back so back up there tomorrow to have plain Brembo 280x22 put on as they cant get the grooved ones for 2-3 weeks or so. Having said that didnt check on G60 fitment and they may have stock of that!
