You can buy them off ebay etc nice and cheap, the problem is unless fitted by an authorised dealer ( who wouldn't need to ask here ;) ) then you have no warrenty.

heres some info on the leon

indicators - black/white & black/green
starter - red/black in ignition loom
ignition - black
permanant 12v+ - red
door trigger - grey/blue
boot trigger - brown/black
central locking - yellow/green & yellow/blue - negative pulse in big plug inside drivers door (connected to window regulator)

most connections can be picked up in oe control unit which is behind drivers side dash panel just below speedo

disclaimer, these wires are to point you in the right direction but i can't be held responsible if you burn your electrics out in trying to fit the alarm,if your not sure then pay a proffesional to fit it as it will be cheaper in the long run

£130 for someone to professionally fit an alarm is cheap. It'll cost you a lot more if you bodge it and cant start the car and they have to sort it ;)

thanks for them colour codes!
found a guy who will fit it for £100-00 all in thanks quite good i suppose
what im going to ask is if he will let me take photos of the wires and build up a little help guide for any other person who is wanting to tackle the job himself (if he dont mind!):)

mate.. thats a silly idea.. it will just provide a way for thieves wanting to take your car much much easier if they know exactly which circuit you have immobilised etc.

not something to post on a public forum IMO

nobody will know its my car! Blanking the number plates etc...
Just wanted to help with the wiring colours so people can do there own alarm installation!

anyway everything is well behind the dash take a theif to much time to start tearing out bits and bobs to get to the wires (unlike novas and fiestas etc...)

then hes got the ecu imobilzer to master (aint gonna happen!)

them if he gets past that ill put a crocadile on the back seat!

If the installer is any good he won't want you posting pics of where everything is anywhere. It's your car but installing an alarm is a job for someone who knows exactly what they're doing, not somethign you should "have a go at" because you've found a guide online.
